Bride

Hello!

Here is another wedding I assisted with in late June:

The brides sister dress was bright yellow. Foundation: Caramel revlon colorstay. Eyes: yellow on the lid, brown in the cease, and light tan color on the brow bone. Lips: plain lipgloss. Cheeks: bronze by milani. The entire face was set with makeup forever setting spray and finishing powder.

This bridesmaids dress was pink. I used revlon colorstay for the foundation. Eyes: Urban decay was used as the base, light pink on lid, brown in the cease, and white matte color on brow bone. Cheeks: rose color from milani. Lips: light bronze from milani. Face was powdered with bronzer to set makeup.

The bride had beautiful hazel eyes. She decided to go with a smoky look which would bring out the eyes more. Foundation: cinema secrets foundation. Eyes: light gray on lid, darker gray in cease, tan on the brow bone. Cheeks: bronzer. Lips: oh baby from mac. Here foundation was set with makeup forever setting spray and finishing powder.

The mother of the bride was a jazzy lady. She wore a long orange dress so I had to make those eyes pop. Foundation: Relvon colorstay. Eyes: urban decay primer potion as base, pretty orange color (mac), tan color in the cease, amber lights (mac) on brow bone. Cheeks: bronzer. Lips: light pink (mac) color. Makeup was set with makeup forever setting spray and powder.

Here are some of the overall looks:

Night In CHI

Before a night on the town Ms. McClendon stopped by after a long day of getting her hair braided decided she wanted me to pin it up. Of course I just couldn't let her go without applying some makeup. I used mac studio fix as the foundation and neutral colors on her eyelid. A dark brown was applied in the crease and amber lights were used on the brow bone. Red lip stick was used to offset the look. She couldn't believe had marvelous she looked.

Tammy's Wedding

I had the pleasure of working with Tammy and her bridesmaids in early June. This bridesmaid had beautiful skin. Her face with first cleansed and moisturized with cream for normal to dry skin. Mac foundation was applied on her face and alittle concealer under the eyes. Urban decay primer portion was added all over the lid as a base. Since the color of their dresses were dark chocolate I decided to stick with neutral tones (golds, browns, etc.). I used a light brown color on the lid (Milani) and a darker brown in the crease. A white matte color was applied to the brow bone as a highlight. A light bronze color was used on the cheeks and dark brown as the lip gloss. Since this bridesmaids already had long lashes mascara was used to enhance them.

This bridesmaid complained of having very oily skin as well as several blemishes on her face. I wanted to make sure all dark spots were covered and extra moisturising cream was added. Her face was first moisturized with cream and MAC foundation was applied. The eyes were primed with urban decay primer potion as a base. A light tan color was added up to the crease. Falling star (Mac color) was added into the crease and a white matte color was used as a highlight. Strip lashes was added to bring her eyes out and lined with black liner on top of eyelid. Her cheeks were accented with bronzer and on the lips she wore light rose (NYX).

This bridesmaid wanted to be alittle different and sassy. She requested a smoky eye. Her face was first cleansed and moisturized with cream and MAC foundation was applied. Eyes were primed with cream shadow secretly paint (Loreal HIP). Bronze (MAC) was applied to the lid, embark (MAC) was added to crease and era (MAC) as the highlight. A soft peach color was applied to the cheeks. Soft peach color as the lip gloss.

All clients was sprayed with a finishing spray to set their makeup (Makeup Forever) and a finishing powder was applied to complete the look.

Finished looks are pictured below:

Blink, Blink

There's nothing like adding to a total look with lashes. This lady wanted to try out individual lashes for the very first time for an upcoming wedding. Individual Ardell lashes were applied with duo glue. After wearing these lashes for about a week she received so many compliments. Now she can't stop coming back for more.

Ms Christine wanted to go out for a night on the town with her lashes. She wanted to try the soft smoky eye look. The lid color was a nice soft gray color by NYX. A darker gray was applied to the crease and a white matte color was used on the brow bone. A nude honey color was used as lip gloss.
